Wendy Neilsen

After a twenty five year career on the international opera and concert stages of the world, Canadian soprano Wendy Nielsen is now Associate Professor, Teaching Stream in Voice and Opera at University of Toronto. In addition, she is Head Vocal Consultant for the Canadian Opera Company Ensemble Studio and maintains a private studio of professional singers in Toronto. She has been Artistic Director of the St Andrews Summer Opera Workshops for twenty five years, overseeing their development, teaching voice and moulding it into the nationally recognized program that it has become.
